Sculpture made of cut paper
and event and protest flyers.
The work is modeled on a carousel and
has pull-quotes from a Michael Hardt essay
(published by our Journal) writen on
sculptureās surface.
Related performance occured during
opening & on London streets. The performance
involved playfully pushing people .
Performance stills were made into a
secondary project, the poster to the left.
The work looks at the ecstatic possibility
of joining something, leaving it, joining
something else and leaving again.
The work was inspired by notions of
encounters and how random social
experiences help constitute new social
movementes. Pushing performance turned
into dada street poster.
